One of our current projects is a new build in Burbage near Marlborough in Wiltshire
It is an Oak framed family home using a SIPs system, the home is being built within the clients large back garden. The site is accessed down a newly constructed driveway.
The foundation has been poured and the block work built, the Green Oak frame has arrived on site and has been raised, the brick and block work has been started and the Sips system has been installed and the retaining walls have been built. The Oak frame has been sand blasted and is being protected for the duration of the build. Carpentry work has began and will continue for the next few months both externally and internally. The internal joists have been laid the first floor underfloor heating is in place and stud walls have been built the insulation and plaster boarding has almost been completed, only the ceilings downstairs as the ducting for the heat recovery unit was being installed, the Mechanical and electrical 1st fix has been completed, the upstairs has been plastered and the downstairs walls are now completed, 2nd fix electrics are well underway.
The two bay garage for the existing property has been built and slated the three bay garage for Oakleaf has been slated and the solar panels fitted.
The work is still progressing for the drainage system and Klargester to be completed . The doors and windows have been fitted along with the velux windows the main roof has been slated the external brick layer is now ready to make way for the cladding, the building has been now been cladded and the scaffolding removed. Internally the plastering is now completed, the kitchen floor has been tiled and the bathroom floors are being tiled, the painter has put on the mist coat and is currently painting bathrooms and bedrooms, 2nd fix electrics and carpentry has been started, the kitchen will be installed next month, the kitchen is being installed this week and then finishing touches can be made, the external patio is now completed, the staircase is fitted and the kitchen is complete
