This building is Southcott Lodge's outbuilding, it is to be taken down and rebuilt and made into an annex with garage. The work has begun the existing buildings have been taken down the foundations have been dug, the extensive sheet piling has been installed using a vibrating hammer attached to a 14 ton machine, the reinforcing steel has been laid and the concrete poured, some of the lower building walls have been built, the tanking will be fitted shortly. The surveyor has been out for his second visit to mark out the building so that it will lay exactly where the old building stood in accordance with the party wall agreement. Now this has been done the block walls will start to go up and the brick wall at the back of the building will then be laid overhand in accordance with the party wall agreement. The drainage has been laid and the block and brick work is complete, the sandtoft antique slate tiles have been laid, the velux have been fitted, internally the insulation has been fitted and the plasterboarding has been started, the underfloor heating is to be installed next week, 1st fix electrics has also been started. To the rear of the building the guttering, fascia boards and cladding have been fitted to comply with restrictions on this build, the rear needed to be completed within a set time frame. The internal work has now been completed the new kitchen has been fitted, the bathrooms, flooring, painting, staircase and balustrade are all complete. The external works to the drive way and patio are now underway.
